    On the first day you will be picked up from Bucharest and we will drive towards the beautiful Prahova Valley.Our first stop will be at the imposing and magnificent palace of Peles. Built by the royal family of Romania during the 19th century, this palace offers an insight of 19th century German Renaissance style of decorations. The next stop will be in Bran Castle, known also as Dracula’s Castle. The imposing construction watches over a valley from a strategic position, it was originally built as a fortress at the former border between Wallachia and Transylvania. Together we shall discover the connection between the legendary ruler, Vlad the Impaler, and the infamous vampire. In the afternoon we will head to the city of Brasov, a city that retains its medieval charm with the help of its well kept historical center. Our walking tour of this lovely town starts from the main square from where we shall admire the old City Hall with its clock tower, the monumental Gothic Black Church, the fortifications, the two watch towers up the hill, the craftsmen guilds and the narrowest street in Europe.

  2. Day2 Brasov –Transfagarasan Balea Lac – Sibiel- Sibiu

    Brasov –Transfagarasan Balea Lac – Sibiel- Sibiu

    After breakfast we are going to head for Transfagarasan top on the Transylvanian side. We are going to reach Balea Lac, situated at 2000 metres in the mountains where the view is breathtaking.

    At noon we reach Sibiu, one of the most well known towns of Transylvania. During the year of 2007 Sibiu became the first European Cultural Capital from Eastern Europe. Join our guide for a walking tour of Sibiu towards the Main Square, The Cathedral and Liars Bridge.

    At night we head for Sibiel Village, a traditional village of Transylvania where we are going to have a homemade dinner in one of the traditional houses.

  3. Day3 Sibiu – Biertan – Sighisoara

    Sibiu – Biertan – Sighisoara

    After breakfast we leave Sibiu to reach Biertan. This 15 century fortified church is another UNESCO Heritage site. A former church built in the Medieval times that sits on top of the hill and offers great view over the village. Inside the church our guide will explain the history of this place and also the reason why is so well known.

    Reach Sighisoara in the afternoon. This is one of the German Fortified Cities that is still unique because people still live inside the old city, behind the walls. Take a walking tour with our guide in order to explore the Clock Tower, former main entrance of the city, The Church on the Hill and the Scholars stair.

  4. Day4 Sighisoara – Bicaz Gorge – Gura Humorului

    Sighisoara – Bicaz Gorge – Gura Humorului

    Set out in the morning towards Bicaz Gorge. Explore this fantastic carving through the mountains. Do not forget to stop at the Red Lake where our guide will have the chance of explaining why is being called Red Lake.

  5. Day5 Gura Humorului – Voronet Monastery – Moldovita Monastery – Sucevita Monastery – Black Pottery Marginea – Gura Humorului

    Start fresh in the morning after breakfast and head for Voronet Monastery. This UNESCO Heritage monastery offers a view for those which are interested in history and religion. Join our guide to offer explanations about the paintings situated on the outside wall of the monastery.

    Next stop will be at Moldovita Monastery where you will have the chance of exploring another vibrating old painted monastery.

    Head for Sucevita monastery and end up your day at the Black Pottery of Marginea.

  6. Day6 Gura Humorului – Mud Volcanoes – Bucharest

    Gura Humorului – Mud Volcanoes – Bucharest

    Head in the morning from Bucovina region towards the south part of Romania. Reach the Mud Volcanoes where this unique site will enchant you with a picture that seems from the movies. Explore this Mars looking Volcanoes.

    Reach in the afternoon Bucharest.
