E. Fritzsche (United States) – August, 2024

Wow! What a great 6 days to see Romania. We wanted to see a bit more than the typical Transylvania tour. Our guide was Marius, super friendly, fun and informative. By the end of the tour he felt more like a traveling friend than a guide. Tour was nicely paced, without early departing times. Plenty of free time to explore on your own. Hotels were all great, with my favorite being the home stay in Maramures. The home cooked meals by Elena were sooo good but her fresh baked bread was out of this world. I overstuffed myself both days. You see all the beautiful wooden churches, monasteries, cemeteries, mountains and farm life in Romania. We even saw a bear on the side of the road which is rare at our elevation. We got to spend more time at the location than you would with a one day tour. I would recommend this tour to anybody if you want to see the real Romania
