Nice trip (about 3 hours of driving from Bucharest) with a professional local guide, Dani, who was really interesting, clear and an excellent Italian speaker (very skilled also the bus driver who, nevertheless some part of the road was in the middle of the mountains, was really good to avoid any sickness for the passengers). Once on the bus, Dani gave us the chance to provide by ourselves once on the various places to visit (in terms of wandering and tickets purchasing), or let him of thinking about everything and be our private guide, for which we had to pay him an extra for this private tours, with the chance to choose between one or two castles accesses (we paid in cash the equivalent of 60 Euros in local Romanian currency, which is a good deal considering that we skipped completely the ticket office lines for both castles and that we could listen to Dani's explanations, except for the Bran Castle, for which he was not allowed to lead private guided tours). The beauty of the places we visited was like a postcard, especially for Peles Castle; the old city of Brasov is very nice too; the Bran Castle is not huge and easy to walk by your own (we got details about its history from Dani before reaching the site). The only drawback, but it is normal considering the duration of the tour, is that we could not spend too much time by ourselves, since everything was strictly scheduled due to the distance from Bucharest, where we had to come back at late afternoon. Definitely recommended!
